Doctor of Chiropractic Nutritional Consultant ** Dr. Stopa was recently certified through the American
Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP) and is pursuing a
diplomate through the ACBSP, which will make him the only chiropractor in
Michigan with this cerification.** After earning an Honorary Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Medical studies
consisting of Anatomy/physiology, Dr Stopa went on to receive his
Doctorate Degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While at
Palmer College, he did extensive clinical work in spinal trauma and degeneration
(pediatrics, geriatrics, and athletic injuries)
Dr. Stopa has published numerous articles regarding health care and provides his patients with the most advanced chiropractic techniques and quality care. HIs patients range from the oldest 87 to the youngest at 3 weeks. Dr. Stopa is involved with the local Senior Center, as well as screening newborns. Specializing in whiplash injuries to the neck and spine, Dr. Stopa is State Licensed and Board Certified, and is active in research for the advancement of the chiropractic profession. Dr. Stopa uses the Gonstead Adjusting Techniques, as well as Thompson Drops for lumbar/pelvic and sacrum regions. Every patient gets moist heat on the area of complaint and most patients receive neck, thoraic and/or lumbar/pelvic traction. |
